nothing is yet in its true form

About

I am a currently a university student pursuing bachelor’s degrees in the areas of Religious Studies and English Literature. I am heavily influenced by dead writers and dying musicians such as C.S. Lewis, Gregory of Nyssa and Bob Dylan. I am passionate about discipleship in “the faith once handed down to the saints.” I believe that the past few generations of Christians have had, as the Apostle Paul wrote about the Romans, “a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge” (Romans 10:2). I read, write, and teach that people would know what and why they believe, and that they would be led to love God and love their neighbors.

On a regular basis you will probably find me riding my bicycle, playing frisbee golf, reading anything and everything, playing guitar, watching SportsCenter, or hanging out with YoungLife kids.

Favorite Books:

  • The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis
  • Till We Have Faces by C.S. Lewis
  • The Provocative Church by Graham Tomlin
  • The Cost of Discipleship by Dietrich Bonhoeffer
  • Ecclesiastes
  • Harry Potters 1-7
  • The Narnian Chronicles by C.S. Lewis

Things I Enjoy:

  • Good beer
  • Pipe tobacco
  • C.F. Martin Guitars
  • Bluegrass
  • Theology (preferably stuff that’s way over my head)
  • Being outside

If only you would run for office. Arizona is one the of the very few states left who would vote for someone with substance, core values and practical economical sense. Thank God for you and your ministry.
